Loretta Lynn's son Ernest recently received positive news regarding his recovery after undergoing a life-saving surgery. Initially, there were concerns about the success of the procedure to treat his kidney failure. However, Ernest's wife, Crystal, shared an update on Monday (Jan. 29) revealing that he has started experiencing significant improvements in his health.
On Facebook, Crystal expresses her lack of understanding for the situation, attributing it solely to a higher power – GOD. She describes how one day they were unable to achieve a successful dialysis treatment for a period of three weeks, but the following day they were able to. Similarly, one day they were confronted with more severe circumstances, but the next day those circumstances had eased. Crystal acknowledges that initially they were uncertain about what the future held, but now they have a positive outlook, believing that the future will be promising.
Crystal expresses that GOD is capable of accomplishing things that we are unable to achieve, and she affirms that HE has already accomplished it. Additionally, Crystal shares an image of Ernest in the process of recovering, depicted sitting in a chair in a medical facility, connected to various machines but appearing to be at ease and resting comfortably.
During Ernest's medical journey, Crystal has been reaching out to fans for their support and prayers for her husband's recovery. In her most recent update, she emphasizes the significant impact that prayer has had on Ernest's progress in terms of his health.

Loretta Lynn's late husband, Oliver "Doolittle" Lynn, had two children with her. Unfortunately, Loretta outlived both of them. Her eldest daughter, Betty Sue, passed away in 2013 due to complications from emphysema. Additionally, her eldest son, Jack Benny, tragically drowned in 1984 while trying to cross a river on their property in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee.
Lynn passed away on October 4, 2022, at her residence in Hurricane Mills. She had reached the age of 90. Throughout her life, she achieved great success as one of the most accomplished artists in country music, earning the highest number of awards among female country performers.
