Lainey Wilson Joins Coors Light’s “Chill Train” Super Bowl Commercial with CGI Virtual Seat Booking

  • by

Lainey Wilson, a prominent figure in the country music scene, had a jam-packed schedule in 2023, and she doesn't seem to be taking a break as she enters the new year. The talented singer has already secured numerous commitments for 2024, with one of them being a role in a commercial during the highly anticipated Super Bowl.

Billboard reports that Wilson is set to appear in a Coors Light advertisement that aims to promote the comeback of the Coors Light Chill Train. This new commercial will include a virtual seat booking feature using CGI technology, which will allow fans to have a more immersive experience.

In the wintry-themed advertisement, Wilson will be depicted in the midst of a photo shoot when suddenly, the "Chill Train" rushes by. The scene will be cold and snowy, with Wilson wearing an icy blue fringe jacket and holding a can of Coors Light. However, despite the wintry setting, the country superstar actually filmed her scene for the advertisement in sunny Los Angeles.

According to the country star, they were involved in a photoshoot where they used their reliable old guitar and a horse provided by Coors Light. The photoshoot involved applying frosty makeup effects and artificial snow on their hair and eyelashes. They were excited about the opportunity to explore new creative avenues, something they had never done before, and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

Wilson, who is in a relationship with ex-NFL player Devlin "Duck" Hodges, will have the opportunity to witness the Super Bowl in person this year. She will be present in Las Vegas to witness the exciting matchup between the San Francisco 49ers and the Kansas City Chiefs.

Wilson acknowledges that while she is enthusiastic about watching the game, she is equally thrilled for the halftime show.

"I am thrilled to be able to attend the Super Bowl and see Usher perform. It's my second time attending this event, and whenever you receive an invitation to go, you simply cannot pass it up," expresses the singer. "Going to the Super Bowl is a unique experience that only happens once in a lifetime, and I am fortunate to be able to go with my friends and other artists. It's going to be a fantastic celebration."

While she didn't explicitly declare her allegiance to any specific team, Wilson appears to be favoring the Chiefs, the current Super Bowl champions, and hoping for their victory once again.

Wilson mentions that he had the opportunity to meet Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes, who are both players in the Chiefs team. He recalls that they attended one of his shows during the previous summer and expresses that they are genuinely wonderful individuals. If he were to support a specific team or individuals, it would likely be them.

Naturally, everyone is paying attention to Kelce as he enters the Super Bowl. This is not only due to his reputation as one of the NFL's strongest athletes, but also because of his relationship with pop sensation Taylor Swift.

Swift has been present at Chiefs games this season whenever she is able to fit it into her touring schedule. Fans are eagerly anticipating her appearance at the Super Bowl, which is scheduled for February 11th. Prior to the Super Bowl, Swift will be continuing her Eras Tour and has a performance in Tokyo, Japan on February 10th. However, there is a chance that she could make it back to Las Vegas in time to watch the game due to the time difference.

After a major victory in the AFC Championship, Taylor Swift shares a kiss with Travis Kelce. Get more updates from Taste of Country. Stay connected with us for more information.
