Lainey Wilson, a popular country music artist, had a jam-packed schedule in 2023 and shows no signs of slowing down as she enters the new year. She has already secured many exciting opportunities for 2024, one of which is appearing in a commercial during the Super Bowl.
As reported by Billboard, Wilson is set to appear in a Coors Light advertisement that aims to promote the comeback of the Coors Light Chill Train. This time, the commercial will feature a CGI virtual seat booking feature for fans to experience.
Wilson will be featured in a wintry-themed advertisement, where she will be shown in the midst of a photo shoot when a train called "Chill Train" swiftly passes her. The scene will have a cold atmosphere, with heavy snowfall, Wilson wearing an icy blue fringe jacket, and holding a can of Coors Light. However, despite the wintry setting, the country superstar actually filmed her scene for the ad in sunny Los Angeles.
"I had a photo shoot where I posed with my reliable old guitar and a horse that Coors Light provided for me. The shoot involved interesting makeup effects that made me look frosted, and we even used fake snow on my hair and eyelashes," recalls the famous country singer. "I had the opportunity to try something new and express my creativity in various ways, which is always enjoyable for me."
Wilson, who is in a relationship with Devlin "Duck" Hodges, a former NFL quarterback, will have the opportunity to attend the Super Bowl this year. She will be present in Las Vegas to witness the exciting match between the San Francisco 49ers and the Kansas City Chiefs.
Wilson openly acknowledges that while she is eager to watch the game, she is equally enthusiastic about the halftime show.
"I am thrilled to be able to attend the Super Bowl and also see Usher perform. This is only my second time attending the Super Bowl, so it is a special occasion for me. Whenever you receive an invitation to attend the Super Bowl, you simply cannot refuse. It is a unique experience that only happens once in a lifetime. I am fortunate to be going with my friends and other artists, and I anticipate it being a fun and lively party."
While she didn't explicitly show strong support for any specific team, Wilson appears to be rooting for the Chiefs, the current Super Bowl champions, to achieve another victory.
Wilson mentions that he had the opportunity to meet Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes, who are both players for the Chiefs. They attended one of Wilson's shows last summer, and he describes them as wonderful individuals. If Wilson had to choose someone to support, it would probably be them.
