Lainey Wilson to Make Exciting Cameo in Coors Light Super Bowl Commercial

  • by

Lainey Wilson, a popular country music artist, had a very busy year in 2023 and shows no signs of slowing down as she enters the new year. She has already secured numerous appearances for 2024, and one of them includes featuring in a commercial during the Super Bowl.

As per the information from Billboard, Wilson is set to appear in a commercial for Coors Light. The commercial aims to promote the comeback of the Coors Light Chill Train, but this time it includes a virtual seat booking feature through CGI for fans to experience.

Wilson will be featured in a winter-themed advertisement, where she will be seen during a photo shoot when the "Chill Train" passes by her. The scene will have a cold atmosphere with heavy snow, Wilson wearing an icy blue fringe jacket, and holding a cold can of Coors Light. However, despite the wintry setting, the country superstar actually filmed her scene for the advertisement in sunny Los Angeles.

The country star describes a photo shoot where they posed with their beloved guitar and a horse provided by Coors Light. The shoot involved applying unique makeup effects that made them look frosted, as well as adding fake snow to their hair and eyelashes. This experience allowed the star to explore their creativity in new and exciting ways, which they always find enjoyable.

Wilson, who is in a relationship with Devlin "Duck" Hodges, a former NFL quarterback, has the opportunity to attend the Super Bowl in person this year. She will be in Las Vegas to witness the clash between the San Francisco 49ers and the Kansas City Chiefs.

Wilson acknowledges that while she is enthusiastic about watching the game, she is equally thrilled about the halftime show.

"I am really looking forward to seeing Usher perform, and I am also excited for the game. This is only my second time attending the Super Bowl, so whenever you receive an invitation to go, you don't pass it up," expresses the singer. "It's a unique experience that only happens once in a lifetime, and I am fortunate to be going with my friends and other artists. It's going to be a fantastic celebration."

While not explicitly endorsing any specific team, Wilson appears to be favoring the Chiefs, the current Super Bowl champions, and hoping for their success once again.

Wilson shares that he had the opportunity to meet Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes, who play for the Kansas City Chiefs as a tight end and quarterback, respectively. He mentions that they attended one of his shows during the previous summer and expresses admiration for them as individuals, describing them as wonderful individuals. Consequently, if he had to choose a team to support, he would likely lean towards cheering for them.

Naturally, Kelce is receiving a lot of attention leading up to the Super Bowl. This is not only due to his reputation as one of the NFL's strongest athletes but also because of his relationship with the popular singer, Taylor Swift.

Swift has been going to Chiefs games this year whenever she can fit it into her busy touring schedule. Fans are really hoping to see her at the Super Bowl on Feb. 11. However, Swift's Eras Tour will continue earlier that week with a show in Tokyo, Japan on Feb. 10. Despite this, it is quite possible that she will be able to make it back to Las Vegas in time to watch the big game, thanks to the time difference.

Taylor Swift plants a kiss on Travis Kelce's lips following a major victory in the AFC Championship. Get more updates and news from Taste of Country by following us.
