There are several country stars who have been relatively inactive for a while, even before the pandemic. Out of these stars, there are at least three who we can confidently say will release an album this year. One of the artists on this shortlist is George Strait. It may surprise you to know that he has been on a five-year break since his last album, Honky Tonk Time Machine.

Some musicians appear to lack motivation to create new music. A renowned artist who continues to perform live openly admitted that she has no further artistic expression. Another musician is adopting a more relaxed attitude, suggesting that they will create music at their own pace, and we cannot criticize them for it. They have dedicated their time and have already produced almost twelve exceptional albums.
