Lainey Wilson, a popular country music artist, had a very active year in 2023 and shows no signs of slowing down as she enters the new year. She has already secured numerous commitments for 2024, including an appearance in a commercial during the Super Bowl.
Billboard reports that Wilson is set to appear in a Coors Light advertisement which aims to promote the comeback of the Coors Light Chill Train. This time, the commercial will feature a CGI virtual seat booking feature that fans can indulge in.
Wilson will be featured in a wintry-themed advertisement, where she will be shown in the midst of a photoshoot. Suddenly, the "Chill Train" will pass by her, creating a chilly atmosphere with gusts of snow, her wearing an icy blue fringe jacket, and holding a cold can of Coors Light. However, despite the wintry setting, the scene was actually filmed in sunny Los Angeles.
The country singer recalls a photo shoot where they were accompanied by a horse provided by Coors Light, along with their reliable old guitar. The shoot involved adding frosted makeup effects and fake snow to their hair and eyelashes, resulting in a unique and creative experience for the singer.
Wilson, who is in a relationship with Devlin "Duck" Hodges, a former NFL quarterback, will have the opportunity to attend the Super Bowl in person this year. She will be present in Las Vegas to witness the exciting showdown between the San Francisco 49ers and the Kansas City Chiefs.
When questioned, Wilson acknowledges that she is equally thrilled about both watching the game and the halftime show.
"I am very enthusiastic about witnessing Usher's performance, as well as the upcoming game. This is only my second time attending the Super Bowl, so whenever you receive an invitation to go, you simply cannot refuse," expresses the singer. "It's an extraordinary experience that only happens once in a lifetime, and I am fortunate enough to be going with some of my friends and fellow artists. It's going to be an incredible celebration."
While not explicitly expressing strong support for any specific team, Wilson appears to be leaning towards the Chiefs, the current Super Bowl champions, and is anticipating their victory once again.
Wilson mentions that he had the opportunity to meet Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes, who are both players for the Chiefs. They attended one of Wilson's shows last summer, and according to him, they are genuinely wonderful individuals. As a result, if Wilson had to support and cheer for someone, it would likely be Kelce and Mahomes.
Naturally, everyone is focused on Kelce as he enters the Super Bowl. This is not only due to his reputation as one of the most influential players in the NFL but also because of his relationship with pop sensation Taylor Swift.
Swift has been present at Chiefs games this season whenever her tour allows, and there is a lot of anticipation among fans to see her at the Super Bowl, scheduled for February 11. Just before the Super Bowl, Swift's Eras Tour will continue with a performance in Tokyo, Japan on February 10. However, considering the time difference, it is highly likely that she will be back in Las Vegas in time to watch the significant game.
After a significant victory in the AFC Championship, Taylor Swift shows her affection for Travis Kelce by sharing a kiss.
