Lainey Wilson, a popular country music artist, had a busy schedule in 2023 and it seems like she won't be taking a break as she enters the new year. In fact, she has already been confirmed to appear in several events in 2024, and one of them happens to be a Super Bowl commercial.
As reported by Billboard, Wilson is set to appear in a Coors Light advertisement that promotes the reintroduction of the Coors Light Chill Train. This time, the commercial will feature a virtual seat booking component using CGI technology, allowing fans to have a more immersive experience.
Wilson will be featured in a wintry-themed advertisement where she is in the midst of a photo shoot. Suddenly, the "Chill Train" will zoom past her, creating a chilly atmosphere with gusts of snow. Wilson will be wearing a stylish icy blue fringe jacket, and she will be holding a refreshing can of Coors Light. However, despite the wintry setting, the scene was actually filmed in sunny Los Angeles.
"I had a photo shoot where I posed with my reliable guitar and a horse that Coors Light provided for me. We had some interesting makeup effects that made us look frosted, and we also had fake snow added to my hair and eyelashes," the famous country singer recalls. "I had the opportunity to try something new and express my creativity in various ways, which is always enjoyable for me."
Wilson, who is in a relationship with Devlin "Duck" Hodges, a former NFL quarterback, will have the opportunity to attend the Super Bowl in person this year. She will be present in Las Vegas to witness the exciting matchup between the San Francisco 49ers and the Kansas City Chiefs.
Wilson acknowledges that while she is enthusiastic about watching the game, she is equally thrilled about the halftime show.
"I'm really looking forward to seeing Usher perform and I'm also excited about the game. This will be my second time attending the Super Bowl, and whenever you receive an invitation to go, you just have to take it," expresses the singer. "It's a unique and unforgettable experience, and I'll be going with my friends and other artists. It's going to be a fantastic celebration."
Although she did not explicitly endorse any specific team, Wilson appears to be wishing for the Kansas City Chiefs, the current Super Bowl champions, to secure another victory.
According to Wilson, he had the opportunity to meet Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes, who are the tight end and quarterback of the Chiefs respectively. They attended one of his shows last summer, and Wilson describes them as genuinely wonderful individuals. If he had to choose someone to support, it would likely be them.
Naturally, everyone is focused on Kelce as he enters the Super Bowl. This attention is not only due to his reputation as one of the NFL's strongest athletes but also because of his relationship with pop superstar Taylor Swift.
Throughout the year, Swift has been present at Chiefs games whenever she has the opportunity, aligning with her touring schedule. Fans are eagerly anticipating her presence at the Super Bowl, scheduled for February 11th. Just days before, on February 10th, Swift is scheduled to perform in Tokyo, Japan as part of her Eras Tour. However, it is plausible that she will return to Las Vegas in time to watch the significant event, considering the time difference.
