Lainey Wilson Makes a Chilly Cameo in Coors Light Super Bowl Commercial

  • by

Lainey Wilson, a prominent figure in the country music industry, had a jam-packed schedule in 2023 and is showing no signs of slowing down as she enters the new year. The talented singer has already secured numerous commitments for 2024, with one of them being a featured appearance in a commercial during the highly anticipated Super Bowl.

As per the information provided by Billboard, Wilson will be appearing in a Coors Light advertisement that aims to promote the comeback of the Coors Light Chill Train. This time, the commercial will feature a virtual seat booking feature created using CGI, allowing fans to have an enjoyable experience.

In the wintry-themed advertisement, Wilson will be depicted in the midst of a photo shoot when suddenly overtaken by the "Chill Train." The scene will be cold and snowy, with Wilson wearing an icy blue fringe jacket and holding a cold can of Coors Light. However, despite the wintry setting, the country superstar actually filmed her scene for the ad in sunny Los Angeles.

The country star recalls a photo shoot where they posed with their beloved guitar and a horse provided by Coors Light. The shoot involved applying frosty makeup effects and adding fake snow to their hair and eyelashes. It was an opportunity for the star to explore their creativity in new and exciting ways, which they always find enjoyable.

Wilson, who is in a relationship with former NFL quarterback Devlin "Duck" Hodges, has the opportunity to personally witness the Super Bowl this year. She will be present in Las Vegas to observe the intense showdown between the San Francisco 49ers and the Kansas City Chiefs.

Wilson confesses that while she is enthusiastic about watching the game, she is equally excited for the halftime show.

"I am really looking forward to seeing Usher perform at the Super Bowl, and I am also excited for the game itself. This is only my second time attending the Super Bowl, so it's a special occasion for me. Whenever you receive an invitation to attend the Super Bowl, you don't pass it up. It's a unique experience that only happens once in a lifetime, and I am fortunate to be able to go with my friends and other artists. It's going to be a fantastic celebration."

While she didn't explicitly endorse any specific team, Wilson appears to be favoring the Chiefs, the current Super Bowl champions, and is eager for them to secure another victory.

Wilson mentioned that he had the opportunity to meet Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes, who play as the tight end and quarterback, respectively, for the Chiefs. They attended one of Wilson's shows last summer and he described them as wonderful individuals. As a result, if he had to choose someone to support, Wilson stated that it would likely be them.

Naturally, everyone's attention is focused on Kelce as he enters the Super Bowl. This is not only due to his reputation as one of the NFL's most dominant athletes, but also because of his relationship with pop superstar Taylor Swift.

Swift has been going to Chiefs games this season whenever she can fit it into her touring schedule, and many fans are eager to see her at the Super Bowl on Feb. 11. However, her Eras Tour will continue earlier that week with a show in Tokyo, Japan on Feb. 10. Nevertheless, there is a chance that she could make it back to Las Vegas in time to watch the Super Bowl because of the time difference.

Following a major victory in the AFC Championship, Taylor Swift shares a kiss with Travis Kelce. Stay updated with more news from Taste of Country by following us.
