Lainey Wilson Makes a Memorable Cameo in Coors Light Super Bowl Commercial

  • by

Lainey Wilson, a popular country music artist, had a very busy year in 2023 and shows no signs of slowing down as she enters the new year. She has already been scheduled for numerous events in 2024, and one of them includes appearing in a commercial during the Super Bowl.

As reported by Billboard, Wilson is set to appear in a Coors Light advertisement that aims to promote the comeback of the beer brand's Coors Light Chill Train. The commercial will feature a new addition, a CGI virtual seat booking feature that allows fans to have an immersive experience.

In Wilson's ad, the setting will be wintry-themed and it will show her during a photoshoot. Suddenly, the "Chill Train" will pass by her. The scene will be cold, with strong gusts of snow, Wilson wearing an icy blue fringe jacket, and holding a cold can of Coors Light. However, despite the wintry scene, the country superstar actually filmed her part for the ad in sunny Los Angeles.

The country singer recalls a photo shoot where they posed with their reliable old guitar and a horse provided by Coors Light. The shoot involved using frosty makeup effects and adding fake snow to their hair and eyelashes, resulting in a unique and creative experience for the singer. They enjoyed the opportunity to explore new artistic avenues and had a lot of fun during the process.

Wilson, who is in a relationship with Devlin "Duck" Hodges, a former NFL quarterback, has the opportunity to witness the Super Bowl live this year. She will be present in Las Vegas to watch the exciting game between the San Francisco 49ers and the Kansas City Chiefs.

When questioned, Wilson acknowledges that she is equally thrilled about watching the game and the halftime show.

"I'm really looking forward to seeing Usher perform at the Super Bowl, and I'm also excited about the game itself. This is only the second time I've had the opportunity to attend the Super Bowl, so whenever you receive an invitation, you just can't turn it down," the singer expresses. "It's a unique and unforgettable experience, and I'm lucky enough to be going with some of my friends and other artists. It's definitely going to be a fun-filled celebration."

Although she didn't explicitly declare her full support for any specific team, Wilson appears to be wishing for the Kansas City Chiefs, the current Super Bowl champions, to win again.

Wilson mentions that he had the opportunity to meet Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes, who are both players for the Kansas City Chiefs. He recalls that they attended one of his shows last summer and he found them to be genuinely wonderful individuals. Considering this, if he had to choose a team to support, it would likely be the Chiefs due to his positive interaction with Kelce and Mahomes.

Naturally, everyone's attention is focused on Kelce as he prepares for the Super Bowl. This is not only due to his reputation as one of the NFL's formidable athletes, but also because of his high-profile relationship with pop sensation Taylor Swift.

Whenever her touring schedule permits, Swift has been present at Chiefs games throughout the year. Fans are eagerly anticipating her presence at the Super Bowl, scheduled for Feb. 11. Prior to the Super Bowl, Swift's Eras Tour will recommence with a performance in Tokyo, Japan on Feb. 10. Nonetheless, there is a high likelihood that she will return to Las Vegas in time to catch the significant game, thanks to the time difference.

Taylor Swift shares a kiss with Travis Kelce in celebration of his team's significant victory in the AFC Championship. Additional content can be found on the Taste of Country platform. Stay connected
