Lainey Wilson, a prominent figure in the country music industry in 2023, remains incredibly active as she enters the new year. She has already secured numerous commitments for 2024, one of which includes appearing in a commercial during the Super Bowl.
As reported by Billboard, Wilson is set to appear in a Coors Light advertisement that aims to promote the relaunch of the Coors Light Chill Train. This time, the advertisement will feature a virtual seat booking feature through CGI, allowing fans to have an enhanced experience.
In the wintry-themed advertisement, Wilson will be depicted during a photo shoot when the "Chill Train" swiftly passes by her. The scene will exude a cold atmosphere, featuring gusty snow, an icy blue fringe jacket, and, naturally, a chilled can of Coors Light. However, despite the wintry setting, the country superstar actually filmed her part for the advertisement in the sunny city of Los Angeles.
"I had a photo session where I posed with my reliable old guitar and a horse that was provided to me by Coors Light. We incorporated some impressive makeup effects that made me look frosty, and we even added fake snow to my hair and eyelashes," recalls the country singer. "It was an opportunity for me to try something new and express my creativity in unique ways, which I always find enjoyable."
Wilson, who is in a relationship with former NFL quarterback Devlin "Duck" Hodges, has the opportunity to witness the Super Bowl live this year. She will be present at the event held in Las Vegas, where she will witness the exhilarating match between the San Francisco 49ers and the Kansas City Chiefs.
Wilson acknowledges that while she is enthusiastic about watching the game, she is equally thrilled for the halftime show.
"I am really looking forward to seeing Usher perform, and I am also excited for the game. This is only my second time attending the Super Bowl, so whenever you receive an invitation to go, you just have to take it. It is a rare opportunity and I am fortunate to be going with my friends and other artists. It's going to be a fantastic celebration."
While not explicitly expressing her full support for either team, Wilson appears to be favoring the Chiefs, the current Super Bowl champions, and is hoping they can secure another victory.
According to Wilson, he had the opportunity to meet Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes, who are both players for the Chiefs. They attended one of his shows last summer and Wilson describes them as genuinely wonderful individuals. As a result, if he had to choose a team to support, he would likely choose to root for them.
Naturally, everyone's attention is focused on Kelce as he enters the Super Bowl. This is not only due to his reputation as one of the NFL's dominant players, but also because of his relationship with Taylor Swift, who is a popular pop star.
Throughout this year, Swift has been able to attend Chiefs games whenever she has free time from her ongoing tour. Fans are excitedly anticipating the possibility of seeing her at the Super Bowl, which is scheduled for February 11th. It should be noted that Swift's Eras Tour will continue earlier that week, with a performance in Tokyo, Japan on February 10th. However, due to the time difference, there is a chance she may be able to return to Las Vegas in time to watch the highly anticipated game.
