Lainey Wilson Joins Coors Light’s Super Bowl Commercial: Behind the Scenes and Game Day Excitement

  • by

Lainey Wilson, a popular country music artist, had a busy year in 2023 and shows no signs of slowing down in the new year. She has already confirmed her participation in various events in 2024, and one of them includes featuring in a commercial during the Super Bowl.

As reported by Billboard, Wilson is set to appear in a Coors Light advertisement that promotes the comeback of the Coors Light Chill Train. This time, the commercial will feature a virtual seat booking feature created using CGI technology, providing fans with an enhanced viewing experience.

In Wilson's advertisement with a winter theme, she will be depicted in the midst of a photoshoot when suddenly a "Chill Train" rushes past her. The scene will be cold and snowy, featuring Wilson wearing an icy blue fringe jacket and holding a can of Coors Light. However, interestingly enough, the country superstar filmed this scene for the advertisement in sunny Los Angeles instead.

"I had a photo shoot where I posed with my reliable guitar and a horse that Coors Light provided for me. The makeup artists applied frosty effects to create a cool look, and they also used fake snow on my hair and eyelashes. It was an exciting opportunity for me to explore new creative avenues and have fun in different ways."

Wilson, who is in a relationship with Devlin "Duck" Hodges, a former NFL quarterback, has plans to attend the upcoming Super Bowl in person. She will witness the faceoff between the San Francisco 49ers and the Kansas City Chiefs, which will take place in Las Vegas.

Wilson acknowledges that while she is thrilled to watch the game, she is equally enthusiastic about the halftime show.

"I'm really looking forward to seeing Usher perform and I'm also excited about the game. This is only my second time attending the Super Bowl, so whenever you receive an invitation to go, you definitely take it," expresses the singer. "It's a unique experience that only happens once in a lifetime, and I am fortunate to be going with some of my friends and other artists. It's going to be a celebration."

While she didn't explicitly declare her allegiance to any specific team, Wilson appears to be optimistic about the possibility of the Kansas City Chiefs, the current Super Bowl champions, securing another victory.

Wilson shares that he had the opportunity to personally meet Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes, who are both players for the Chiefs football team. He mentions that they attended one of his shows during the previous summer and expresses admiration for their character, describing them as genuinely kind individuals. Reflecting on this, Wilson admits that if he were to support and cheer for any team or individuals, it would likely be them.

Naturally, everyone is paying close attention to Kelce as he approaches the Super Bowl. This is not only because he is recognized as one of the NFL's most influential athletes, but also due to his relationship with the famous pop singer, Taylor Swift.

Swift has been going to Chiefs games this season whenever she can fit it into her touring schedule, and a lot of fans are excited to see her at the Super Bowl, which is happening on February 11th. Swift's Eras Tour starts up again earlier that week: She has a performance scheduled in Tokyo, Japan on February 10th; however, it's very likely that she'll be back in Las Vegas in time to watch the important game because of the time difference.

After a major victory in the AFC Championship, Taylor Swift shares a kiss with Travis Kelce. Get more updates from Taste of Country by following us.
