Lainey Wilson Set to Shine in Coors Light Super Bowl Commercial

  • by

Country music artist Lainey Wilson had a very busy year in 2023 and it seems like she won't be slowing down anytime soon as she enters the new year. She has already confirmed her participation in several events in 2024, and one of them includes being featured in a Super Bowl commercial.

As per Billboard, Wilson is set to appear in a Coors Light advertisement that aims to promote the comeback of the Coors Light Chill Train. This time, the commercial will incorporate a CGI virtual seat booking feature to enhance the viewing experience for fans.

In Wilson's advertisement with a winter theme, she will be depicted in the midst of a photo shoot when the "Chill Train" swiftly passes by her. The scene will portray a cold atmosphere, with heavy snowfall, a frosty blue jacket, and, naturally, a can of Coors Light. However, despite the wintry setting, the country singer filmed her part for the advertisement in the sunny city of Los Angeles.

"I had a photo shoot with my reliable old guitar and a horse that was provided to me by Coors Light. We had some amazing makeup effects that made us look frosted, and we even had fake snow added to my hair and eyelashes," the country singer recalls. "I had the opportunity to try something new and be creative in various ways, which is always enjoyable for me."

Wilson, who is in a relationship with Devlin "Duck" Hodges, a former NFL quarterback, has plans to personally attend the Super Bowl this year. She will witness the showdown between the San Francisco 49ers and the Kansas City Chiefs, which is taking place in Las Vegas.

Wilson confesses that while she is eagerly anticipating watching the game, she is equally enthusiastic about the halftime show.

"I'm really looking forward to seeing Usher and I'm also excited about the game. It's only the second time I've ever been to the Super Bowl, so whenever you receive an invitation to attend, you just can't pass it up," expresses the singer. "It's a unique experience that only happens once in a lifetime, and I'm fortunate enough to be going with some of my friends and other artists. It's going to be a fantastic celebration."

While she didn't explicitly declare her allegiance to any specific team, Wilson appears to be anticipating a second consecutive victory for the Kansas City Chiefs, who are the current Super Bowl champions.

Wilson mentions that he had the opportunity to meet Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes, who are both players for the Kansas City Chiefs. He recalls that they attended one of his shows during the previous summer and describes them as genuinely wonderful individuals. Wilson adds that if he had to choose someone to support, it would probably be them.

Naturally, everyone's attention is focused on Kelce as the Super Bowl approaches. This is not just because he is renowned as one of the NFL's strongest athletes, but also due to his relationship with Taylor Swift, a popular pop singer.

Swift has been going to Chiefs games this season whenever she can fit it into her touring schedule, and numerous fans are eager to see her at the Super Bowl, which is scheduled for Feb. 11. Swift's Eras Tour recommences earlier that week: She has a performance scheduled in Tokyo, Japan on Feb. 10; however, it is entirely possible that she will return to Las Vegas in time to watch the significant game because of the time difference.

Taylor Swift shows her affection for Travis Kelce with a kiss following a significant victory in the AFC Championship. This story is brought to you by Taste of Country. Stay updated by following
