Lainey Wilson Joins Coors Light for a Super Bowl Commercial with a Chilling Twist

  • by

Lainey Wilson, a prominent figure in the country music scene in 2023, continues to stay active as she enters the new year. Despite the changing calendar, Wilson shows no signs of slowing down, as she has already secured numerous commitments for 2024, one of which includes an appearance in a commercial during the Super Bowl.

As per Billboard, Wilson is set to appear briefly in a Coors Light advertisement that aims to promote the comeback of the Coors Light Chill Train. This time, the commercial will feature a virtual seat booking feature created using CGI, allowing fans to have an enjoyable experience.

In the wintry-themed ad, Wilson will be depicted in the midst of a photo shoot when the "Chill Train" swiftly passes by her. The scene will exude a cold atmosphere, featuring gusts of snow, a frosty blue fringe jacket, and, naturally, a refreshing can of Coors Light. However, despite the winter setting, the country superstar actually filmed her part for the ad in the sunny city of Los Angeles.

The country star shares that they had a photo shoot with their reliable old guitar and a horse provided by Coors Light. The shoot included cool makeup effects that made them look frosted, and they also got to have fake snow in their hair and eyelashes. It was an opportunity for the star to explore new creative avenues, which they always find enjoyable.

Wilson, who is in a relationship with former NFL quarterback Devlin "Duck" Hodges, has plans to personally attend the Super Bowl this year. She will be present in Las Vegas to witness the highly anticipated game between the San Francisco 49ers and the Kansas City Chiefs.

Wilson acknowledges that while she is very enthusiastic about watching the game, she is equally thrilled about the halftime show.

"I am thrilled to witness Usher's performance, as well as looking forward to the game. This will be my second time attending the Super Bowl, and whenever you receive an invitation for such an event, you simply cannot refuse. It is a unique experience that only happens once in a lifetime, and I am fortunate enough to attend alongside my friends and fellow artists. It is going to be an unforgettable celebration."

While she didn't explicitly express her strong support for any specific team, Wilson appears to be optimistic about the Chiefs, the current Super Bowl champions, securing another victory.

Wilson shares that he had the opportunity to meet Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes, who are both players for the Chiefs. They attended one of his shows last summer, and Wilson describes them as wonderful individuals. He mentions that if he had to support a team or individuals, it would likely be them.

Naturally, everyone is focused on Kelce as he enters the Super Bowl, not only because he is recognized as one of the NFL's most influential athletes, but also because he is in a relationship with the famous singer, Taylor Swift.

Whenever her touring schedule permits, Swift has been going to Chiefs games this year. Fans are eagerly anticipating her presence at the Super Bowl, scheduled for Feb. 11. Prior to the big game, Swift's Eras Tour continues with a performance in Tokyo, Japan on Feb. 10. However, considering the time difference, it is entirely possible for her to return to Las Vegas in time to catch the Super Bowl.

After a significant victory in the AFC Championship, Taylor Swift shares a kiss with Travis Kelce. You can find more updates from Taste of Country by following them.
