Lainey Wilson, a popular country music artist, had a very busy year in 2023 and shows no signs of slowing down as she enters the new year. She has already been scheduled for numerous events in 2024, and one exciting opportunity includes appearing in a commercial during the Super Bowl.
As per Billboard, Wilson is set to appear in a Coors Light advertisement that will promote the comeback of the Coors Light Chill Train. This time, the commercial will include a virtual seat booking feature through CGI, allowing fans to have an enjoyable experience.
In the wintry-themed ad, Wilson will be depicted in the midst of a photo shoot when the "Chill Train" swiftly passes by her. The scene will be cold and snowy, featuring Wilson wearing an icy blue fringe jacket and holding a cold can of Coors Light. However, despite the wintry setting, the country superstar actually filmed her scene for the ad in sunny Los Angeles.
The country star shares a story about a photo shoot where they posed with their reliable guitar and a horse that was arranged for them by Coors Light. The shoot involved applying cool frosted makeup effects and adding fake snow to their hair and eyelashes. It was an opportunity for the star to explore new and creative ways of expressing themselves, which they always find enjoyable.
Wilson, who is in a relationship with Devlin "Duck" Hodges, a former NFL quarterback, is set to personally attend this year's Super Bowl. She will be present in Las Vegas, witnessing the intense showdown between the San Francisco 49ers and the Kansas City Chiefs.
Wilson acknowledges that while she is thrilled to watch the game, she is equally enthusiastic about the halftime show.
"I am really looking forward to seeing Usher and I am also excited for the game. It will be my second time attending the Super Bowl, and whenever you receive an invitation to go, you simply cannot pass it up," expresses the singer enthusiastically. "It's a unique and unforgettable experience, especially because I will be going with my friends and other artists. It is going to be a fantastic celebration."
While not explicitly endorsing any specific team, Wilson appears to be inclined towards the idea of the reigning Super Bowl champions, the Chiefs, winning again.
Wilson mentioned that he had the opportunity to meet Travis Kelce, the tight end for the Chiefs, and Patrick Mahomes, the Chiefs' quarterback. They attended one of Wilson's shows last summer, and according to Wilson, they are genuinely wonderful individuals. Therefore, if Wilson were to choose a team to support, it would likely be the Chiefs due to his positive experience with Kelce and Mahomes.
Naturally, everyone is paying close attention to Kelce as he approaches the Super Bowl. This is not just because he is recognized as one of the NFL's most influential athletes, but also due to his relationship with the popular singer, Taylor Swift.
Swift has been going to Chiefs games this season whenever she doesn't have any touring commitments. Fans are eager to see her at the Super Bowl on Feb. 11. However, her Eras Tour will continue earlier that week with a show in Tokyo, Japan on Feb. 10. Nevertheless, there is a chance that she might be able to return to Las Vegas in time to watch the game due to the time difference.
