Lainey Wilson, a popular country music artist, had a very busy year in 2023 and it seems like she will continue to stay active in the upcoming year. She has already secured numerous appearances for 2024, with one of them being a role in a commercial set to air during the Super Bowl.
Billboard reports that Wilson is set to appear in a Coors Light advertisement that aims to promote the comeback of the Coors Light Chill Train. This new commercial will feature a virtual seat booking element through CGI, allowing fans to have an immersive experience.
In the wintry-themed commercial, Wilson will be depicted during a photo shoot when suddenly she is surprised by the "Chill Train" passing by. The scene will be portrayed as cold and snowy, with Wilson wearing an icy blue fringe jacket and holding a can of Coors Light. However, contrary to the wintry setting, the country superstar actually filmed her scene for the advertisement in sunny Los Angeles.
During a photo session, I had my reliable old guitar and a horse that was provided to me by Coors Light. The photo shoot involved using interesting makeup effects that gave a frosted appearance. We also had the opportunity to incorporate fake snow in my hair and eyelashes, among other things," recalls the country musician. "I was able to explore new creative avenues and engage in activities that I had never done before, which is always enjoyable for me."
Wilson, who is in a relationship with Devlin "Duck" Hodges, a former NFL quarterback, has made plans to attend the Super Bowl in Las Vegas. She will have the opportunity to witness the match between the San Francisco 49ers and the Kansas City Chiefs firsthand.
Wilson acknowledges that while she is eagerly anticipating watching the game, she is equally enthusiastic about the halftime show.
"I am filled with enthusiasm to witness Usher perform, and I am also thrilled about the game. This will be my second time attending the Super Bowl, and whenever you receive an invitation to go, you simply cannot refuse," expresses the singer. "It is a unique opportunity that only comes once in a lifetime, and I am fortunate to be able to attend alongside my friends and fellow artists. It is going to be an incredible celebration."
While Wilson didn't fully endorse any specific team, it appears that she is anticipating another victory for the Chiefs, who are the current Super Bowl champions.
Wilson mentions that he had the opportunity to meet Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes, who are both players for the Chiefs. He shares that they attended one of his shows last summer and he has a positive impression of them as individuals. If he had to support a particular team, he might consider rooting for them.
Naturally, everyone is focused on Kelce as he enters the Super Bowl. This is not only because he is considered one of the strongest players in the NFL, but also because he is dating the popular singer Taylor Swift.
Swift has been going to Chiefs games this season whenever she can fit it into her busy touring schedule. Fans are excitedly anticipating her presence at the Super Bowl, which is scheduled for February 11th. Just a few days before the Super Bowl, Swift's Eras Tour resumes with a show in Tokyo, Japan on February 10th. However, it is highly likely that she will be able to make it back to Las Vegas in time to catch the big game because of the time difference.
