Lainey Wilson, a prominent figure in the country music scene, had a jam-packed schedule in 2023 and shows no signs of slowing down as she enters the new year. With numerous upcoming commitments in 2024, she has also secured a spot in a Super Bowl commercial.
As reported by Billboard, Wilson is set to appear in a Coors Light advertisement that aims to promote the comeback of the Coors Light Chill Train. This time, the commercial will feature a virtual seat booking feature using CGI technology for fans to experience.
In Wilson's advertisement, the wintry theme will be depicted as she is in the midst of a photo shoot and suddenly the "Chill Train" passes by. The scene will be cold and snowy, with Wilson wearing an icy blue fringe jacket and holding a can of Coors Light. However, it is interesting to note that the country superstar actually filmed this scene in sunny Los Angeles.
The country singer recalls a photo shoot where they used their reliable old guitar and a horse provided by Coors Light. The shoot involved applying unique makeup effects that resembled frost, as well as adding fake snow to their hair and eyelashes. This experience allowed the artist to explore their creativity in new and exciting ways, which they always find enjoyable.
Wilson, who is dating former NFL quarterback Devlin "Duck" Hodges, will have the opportunity to witness the Super Bowl live this year. She will be present in Las Vegas to witness the thrilling showdown between the San Francisco 49ers and the Kansas City Chiefs.
Wilson acknowledges that while she is enthusiastic about watching the game, she is equally thrilled about the halftime show.
"I am thrilled to see Usher perform, and I am also excited for the game. This is only my second time attending the Super Bowl, so whenever I receive an invitation to go, I seize the opportunity. It is a unique and unforgettable experience, and I will be attending with my friends and other artists. It is going to be a fantastic celebration."
Although she didn't explicitly declare her allegiance to any specific team, Wilson appears to be optimistic about the Chiefs, the current Super Bowl champions, achieving another victory.
Wilson mentions that he had the opportunity to meet Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes, who are both players for the Chiefs. According to Wilson, they attended one of his shows last summer and he found them to be genuinely wonderful individuals. Therefore, if he had to choose someone to support, it would probably be them.
Naturally, everyone's attention is focused on Kelce as he enters the Super Bowl. This is not only due to his reputation as one of the NFL's influential athletes, but also because of his relationship with the famous singer, Taylor Swift.
Whenever her touring schedule permits, Swift has been going to Chiefs games this year and fans are eager to see her at the Super Bowl on Feb. 11. Despite having a show in Tokyo, Japan on Feb. 10 as part of her Eras Tour, there is a chance that she might make it back to Las Vegas in time to catch the game because of the time difference.
After a significant victory in the AFC Championship, Taylor Swift shares a kiss with Travis Kelce. Find out more on Taste of Country. Stay connected with us for updates.
