Lainey Wilson to Make a Cameo in Coors Light Super Bowl Commercial

  • by

Lainey Wilson, a popular country music artist, had a very busy year in 2023 and it seems like she won't be slowing down anytime soon as she enters the new year. In fact, she has already secured various commitments for 2024, including a role in a commercial that will air during the Super Bowl.

According to information from Billboard, Wilson has been confirmed to appear in a Coors Light advertisement that will promote the comeback of the Coors Light Chill Train. This time, the commercial will feature a virtual seat booking element created with CGI, providing an enjoyable experience for fans.

In the advertisement, Wilson will be depicted in a winter setting, surrounded by snow and wearing a blue jacket with a frosty design. The scene will show her in the midst of a photoshoot when a train called the "Chill Train" zooms past her. Despite the wintry theme, the scene was actually filmed in sunny Los Angeles.

The country star shares her experience of a photo shoot where she posed with her beloved guitar and a horse that Coors Light provided. The shoot involved creating unique makeup effects that resembled frost, as well as adding fake snow to her hair and eyelashes. She expresses her excitement about being able to try something new and explore her creativity in various ways, which she always finds enjoyable.

Wilson, who is in a relationship with former NFL quarterback Devlin "Duck" Hodges, will have the opportunity to witness the Super Bowl in person this year. She will be present in Las Vegas to witness the highly anticipated match between the San Francisco 49ers and the Kansas City Chiefs.

Wilson acknowledges that while she is highly enthusiastic about watching the game, she is equally thrilled about the halftime show.

"I am thrilled to be attending the Super Bowl and seeing Usher perform. This is only my second time going to the Super Bowl, so it is a very special opportunity. Whenever you receive an invitation to attend such an event, you cannot pass it up. It is a unique experience that only happens once in a lifetime. I am fortunate to be going with my friends and other artists, so it will definitely be a fun and exciting celebration."

Although she didn't explicitly endorse any specific team, Wilson appears to have a desire for the Kansas City Chiefs, the current Super Bowl champions, to secure another victory.

Wilson explains that he had the opportunity to meet Travis Kelce, the Chiefs' tight end, and Patrick Mahomes, the Chiefs' quarterback. They attended one of his shows last summer and Wilson describes them as genuinely wonderful individuals. Given the circumstances, if he had to choose a team to support, it would likely be them.

Naturally, everyone's attention is focused on Kelce as he enters the Super Bowl. This is not only due to his reputation as one of the NFL's strongest athletes, but also because of his relationship with pop sensation Taylor Swift.

Swift has been going to Chiefs games this season whenever she has free time from her touring schedule. Fans are excited and hopeful to see her at the Super Bowl, which is scheduled for February 11th. Swift's Eras Tour will continue earlier that week with a performance in Tokyo, Japan on February 10th. However, it is entirely possible that she will be back in Las Vegas in time to watch the Super Bowl because of the time difference.

After a significant victory in the AFC Championship, Taylor Swift shares a kiss with Travis Kelce. Stay updated with more news from Taste of Country by following us on social media.
