Lainey Wilson, a popular country music artist, had a very busy year in 2023 and shows no signs of slowing down as she enters the new year. She has already been scheduled for numerous events in 2024, and one of them includes appearing in a commercial during the Super Bowl.
Billboard reports that Wilson is set to appear in a Coors Light advertisement that will promote the comeback of the Coors Light Chill Train. This time, the ad will feature a virtual seat booking feature through CGI, providing fans with an enhanced experience.
In Wilson's advertisement with a winter theme, she will be depicted in the midst of a photoshoot when a train called the "Chill Train" swiftly passes by her. The scene will be set in a cold environment, with strong winds and snow, and Wilson will be wearing a frosty blue jacket. Additionally, she will be holding a cold can of Coors Light. However, contrary to the wintry setting, the country superstar actually filmed her scene for the advertisement in the sunny city of Los Angeles.
"I had a photo shoot with my reliable old guitar and a horse that Coors Light provided for me. We had some fantastic makeup effects that made us look frosted, and we even had fake snow in my hair and eyelashes," recalls the country singer. "I had the opportunity to try something new and express my creativity in various ways, which is always enjoyable for me."
Wilson, who is dating former NFL quarterback Devlin "Duck" Hodges, is going to be present at the Super Bowl this year. She will be witnessing the showdown between the San Francisco 49ers and the Kansas City Chiefs in Las Vegas.
Wilson acknowledges that while she is enthusiastic about watching the game, she is equally thrilled about the halftime show.
"I am thrilled to be able to see Usher perform and I am also looking forward to the game. This is only my second time attending the Super Bowl and whenever you receive an invitation to go, you just have to accept it," expresses the singer. "It's an opportunity that only comes once in a lifetime and I am fortunate to be going with my friends and other artists. It's going to be a fantastic celebration."
Wilson doesn't explicitly express her full support for any specific team, but it appears that she is optimistic about the Chiefs, the current Super Bowl champions, securing another victory.
According to Wilson, he had the opportunity to meet Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes, who are both players for the Chiefs. They attended one of his shows last summer and Wilson describes them as wonderful individuals. Therefore, if he had to support a team, it would possibly be the Chiefs because of his positive experience with Kelce and Mahomes.
Naturally, everyone is focused on Kelce as he enters the Super Bowl. This attention is not only due to his reputation as one of the NFL's strongest players, but also because of his relationship with pop superstar Taylor Swift.
Whenever her touring schedule permits, Swift has been present at Chiefs games this season. As the Super Bowl approaches on Feb. 11, fans are eagerly anticipating her attendance. Although Swift's Eras Tour continues earlier that week with a performance in Tokyo, Japan on Feb. 10, there is a high possibility that she will return to Las Vegas in time to witness the significant game, thanks to the time difference.
After a major victory in the AFC Championship, Taylor Swift shares a kiss with Travis Kelce. For more updates, stay tuned to Taste of Country.
