Lainey Wilson, a prominent figure in the country music scene, was highly active in 2023 and shows no signs of slowing down in the new year. She has already secured numerous commitments for 2024, including a notable appearance in a Super Bowl commercial.
As per the information from Billboard, Wilson is set to appear in a Coors Light advertisement that aims to promote the comeback of the Coors Light Chill Train. This time, the commercial will feature a virtual seat booking feature created with CGI for fans to experience and enjoy.
In the wintry-themed advertisement, Wilson will be portrayed in the midst of a photo session when the "Chill Train" swiftly passes by her. The scene will be cold and snowy, featuring Wilson wearing an icy blue fringe jacket and holding a cold can of Coors Light. However, despite the wintry setting, the country superstar actually filmed her part for the ad in sunny Los Angeles.
The country singer shares his experience of doing a photo shoot with his beloved guitar and a horse provided by Coors Light. During the shoot, they used special makeup effects that made them look frosted, and they also added fake snow to his hair and eyelashes. This opportunity allowed him to explore his creativity in unique ways, which he always finds enjoyable.
Wilson, who is in a relationship with former NFL quarterback Devlin "Duck" Hodges, will have the opportunity to attend the upcoming Super Bowl in Las Vegas. She will witness the exciting showdown between the San Francisco 49ers and the Kansas City Chiefs firsthand.
According to Wilson, she openly acknowledges that she is equally thrilled about both watching the game and the halftime show.
"I am really looking forward to seeing Usher and I am also excited about the game. It's only my second time attending the Super Bowl, so whenever you receive an invitation, you just have to go. It's a unique experience that only happens once in a lifetime, and I am fortunate enough to be going with my friends and some other artists. It's definitely going to be a fun and festive atmosphere."
While not explicitly endorsing any particular team, Wilson appears to be rooting for the Chiefs, who are currently the reigning Super Bowl champions, to win again.
According to Wilson, he had the opportunity to meet Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes, who are both players for the Chiefs. They attended one of his shows last summer and Wilson describes them as wonderful individuals. He mentions that if he had to support a team, he would possibly choose to root for them.
Naturally, everyone is focused on Kelce as he approaches the Super Bowl. This is not just because he is considered one of the NFL's most influential players, but also due to his relationship with pop sensation Taylor Swift.
Swift has been going to Chiefs games this season whenever she can fit it into her touring schedule. Fans are eager to see her at the Super Bowl, which is scheduled for Feb. 11. Before the Super Bowl, Swift will be continuing her Eras Tour and has a show in Tokyo, Japan on Feb. 10. However, there is a chance that she will be able to return to Las Vegas in time to watch the big game because of the time difference.
