Lainey Wilson, a popular country music artist, was extremely busy in 2023 and shows no signs of slowing down in the upcoming year. She has already secured several commitments for 2024, including a role in a commercial that will air during the Super Bowl.
As per the information provided by Billboard, Wilson is set to appear in a Coors Light advertisement that aims to promote the comeback of the Coors Light Chill Train. This time, the commercial will include a virtual seat booking feature using CGI, allowing fans to have a more immersive experience.
The advertisement featuring Wilson will depict her in a winter-themed setting, where she is in the midst of a photo shoot when suddenly the "Chill Train" speeds past her. The scene will be cold and snowy, with Wilson wearing an icy blue fringe jacket and holding a can of Coors Light. However, despite the wintry scene, the country superstar actually filmed her part for the advertisement in sunny Los Angeles.
The country singer recalls a photo shoot where they posed with their reliable old guitar and a horse that was arranged for them by Coors Light. The shoot involved using interesting makeup effects to create a frosted look, as well as adding fake snow to their hair and eyelashes. This experience allowed them to explore their creativity in new and exciting ways, which they always find enjoyable.
Wilson, who is in a relationship with former NFL quarterback Devlin "Duck" Hodges, has the opportunity to attend the upcoming Super Bowl live. She will witness the thrilling showdown between the San Francisco 49ers and the Kansas City Chiefs, which is scheduled to take place in Las Vegas.
Wilson confesses that she is equally thrilled about both watching the game and the halftime show.
"I am thrilled to attend the Super Bowl and watch Usher perform. This is only my second time attending the event, so it holds a special significance for me. Whenever you receive an invitation to go to the Super Bowl, you simply cannot pass it up. It is a unique experience that only comes around once in a lifetime, and I am fortunate to be going with my friends and other artists. It is going to be a fantastic celebration."
While not explicitly endorsing any specific team, Wilson appears to be optimistic about the Chiefs, the current Super Bowl champions, securing another victory.
Wilson mentioned that he had the opportunity to meet Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes, who are both players for the Chiefs. They attended one of Wilson's shows last summer and he described them as wonderful individuals. As a result, if Wilson had to support a particular team, it would likely be the Chiefs because of his positive experience with Kelce and Mahomes.
Naturally, everyone is focused on Kelce as he enters the Super Bowl. This attention is not only due to his reputation as one of the NFL's most formidable athletes, but also because of his relationship with pop sensation Taylor Swift.
Swift has been present at Chiefs games throughout the year whenever she can fit it into her busy touring schedule. Fans are eagerly anticipating her presence at the Super Bowl, scheduled for Feb. 11. However, Swift's Eras Tour will continue earlier that week, with a show in Tokyo, Japan on Feb. 10. Nevertheless, there is a high chance that she may be able to return to Las Vegas in time to watch the important game, thanks to the time difference.
After a major victory in the AFC Championship, Taylor Swift shares a celebratory kiss with Travis Kelce. Stay updated with Taste of Country for more news and updates.
