Lainey Wilson to Make a Memorable Cameo in Coors Light Super Bowl Commercial

  • by

Lainey Wilson, a popular country music artist, had a very busy year in 2023 and shows no signs of slowing down as she enters the new year. She has already been scheduled for numerous events and appearances in 2024, and one of them includes making an appearance in a commercial during the Super Bowl.

Billboard reports that Wilson is set to appear in a Coors Light advertisement that promotes the comeback of the Coors Light Chill Train. This time, the commercial includes a virtual seat booking feature using CGI technology, allowing fans to have an enhanced experience.

In the wintry-themed advertisement, Wilson will be depicted in the midst of a photo shoot when the "Chill Train" swiftly passes by her. The scene will have a cold atmosphere, with heavy snowfall, a frosty blue jacket, and, naturally, a chilled Coors Light beverage. However, contrary to expectations, the country superstar filmed her part for the advertisement in sunny Los Angeles instead of a snowy location.

During a photo shoot, I had the opportunity to work with my reliable old guitar and a horse that was provided by Coors Light. The shoot involved applying unique makeup effects that resembled frost, and we also incorporated fake snow in my hair and eyelashes. It was an exciting experience for me as I got to explore new avenues of creativity that I had never explored before.

Wilson, who is in a romantic relationship with former NFL quarterback Devlin "Duck" Hodges, has the opportunity to witness the Super Bowl live this year. She will be present in Las Vegas to witness the thrilling face-off between the San Francisco 49ers and the Kansas City Chiefs.

Wilson acknowledges that while she is enthusiastic about watching the game, she is equally thrilled about the halftime show.

"I can't wait to see Usher perform and I'm also thrilled for the game. This is only my second time attending the Super Bowl, so whenever you have the opportunity to go, you take it," expresses the singer. "It's a unique experience that only happens once in a lifetime, and I'm fortunate to be going with some of my friends and other artists. It's going to be a fantastic celebration."

While not explicitly endorsing any specific team, Wilson appears to be favoring the Chiefs, the current Super Bowl champions, and hoping for their success once again.

Wilson mentions that he had the opportunity to meet Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes, who are both players for the Chiefs. He recalls that they attended one of his shows last summer and expresses that they are genuinely wonderful individuals. Given the circumstances, if Wilson had to support a team or individuals, he would likely choose Kelce and Mahomes.

Naturally, everyone's attention is focused on Kelce as the Super Bowl approaches. This is not only because he is considered one of the most influential players in the NFL, but also due to his relationship with the popular singer Taylor Swift.

Swift has been going to Chiefs games this season whenever she doesn't have any tour obligations. A lot of fans are hopeful to see her at the Super Bowl, which is scheduled for Feb. 11. However, Swift's Eras Tour will resume earlier that week with a concert in Tokyo, Japan on Feb. 10. Nevertheless, there is a chance that she might be able to make it back to Las Vegas in time to watch the important game because of the time difference.

After a major victory in the AFC Championship, Taylor Swift shares a kiss with Travis Kelce. Get more updates and news from Taste of Country by following us.
