Chris Young displayed the injuries he sustained during an altercation with Tennessee Alcoholic Beverage Commission (TABC) officers, which occurred before his recent arrest. The encounter was just as agonizing as it appeared.
The singer revealed to his fans on Tuesday (Jan. 30) the bruises he had gotten as a result of being forcefully pushed by a police officer. The impact caused him to lose his balance and trip over the corner of a bar, resulting in two noticeable bruises. One bruise is located on the inside of his arm, while the other can be seen on his lower back.
In his post, Young expresses that the object in the photo is extremely close to his spine. He shares the photo along with a clip of "Don't Stand So Close to Me," a popular song by the British rock band, the Police.
In the comment section of Young's post, numerous fans expressed sympathy towards his experience, while some individuals defended the actions of the officers.
A commenter is questioning the acceptability of the actions of the other party, suggesting that by taking legal action, one can contribute to preventing similar incidents from occurring to others.
One individual expresses their opinion, stating that they do not support interfering with someone's employment. Despite that, they still enjoy the person's music.
Earlier this month, the actor from the TV show "Young Love & Saturday Nights" was taken into custody for disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and assaulting a police officer at a bar called the Dawg House in Nashville.
However, the video evidence of the incident, captured by security cameras and fellow patrons in the bar, presents a contrasting narrative. It depicts Young as respectful and compliant towards the officers during his arrest. It appears that he only lightly made contact with one of the officers before the individual forcefully shoved him backwards, causing him to fall over the bar.
The accusations against the singer were dismissed, and afterwards, Young confidently responded to those who criticized his decision to engage with the officer.
Now that all the charges against Young have been dropped, the incident is officially resolved in the eyes of the law. It is expected that he will resume his activities in promoting his upcoming album, titled Young Love & Saturday Nights, set to be released on March 22.
