Chris Young displayed his wounds from a confrontation with officers from the Tennessee Alcoholic Beverage Commission (TABC) that occurred prior to his recent arrest. The injuries he sustained were just as agonizing as they appeared.
The singer shared with his fans on Tuesday (Jan. 30) the bruises he got when an officer forcefully pushed him backwards, resulting in him tripping and falling into a bar corner. These injuries consist of two significant and dark bruises—one on the inner side of his arm and the other on his lower back.
In his post, Young expresses his discomfort with the close proximity of something to his spine. He shares a photo along with his comment and sets his post to a clip of "Don't Stand So Close to Me," a popular song from the British rock band, the Police, released in 1980.
In the comment section of Young's post, numerous fans expressed empathy towards his experience, while some individuals supported the actions taken by the officers.
One individual raises the question of how it is acceptable for the party being sued to engage in such behavior, emphasizing that by taking legal action, it can potentially prevent similar incidents from occurring to others.
One person expresses their opinion about not interfering with someone's job and mentions that they cannot feel sympathy towards the individual. However, they still enjoy the person's music.
Earlier this month, the actor from "Young Love & Saturday Nights" was taken into custody at a bar in Nashville called the Dawg House. The charges against them include disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and assaulting a police officer.
However, when analyzing the video recordings of the incident, including footage from security cameras as well as videos captured by other individuals in the bar, it becomes clear that the situation unfolded differently. In the footage, Young can be seen behaving respectfully and compliantly towards the officers during his arrest. It appears that he only lightly touched one of the officers before the individual forcefully pushed him backwards, causing him to fall over the bar.
The singer was no longer facing any charges, and Young confidently showed off to those who criticized him for making contact with the officer in the first place.
Now that all charges against Young have been dropped, the incident is no longer a legal concern for him. He will probably resume his efforts to promote his upcoming album, Young Love & Saturday Nights, set to be released on March 22nd.
