Chris Young revealed the injuries he obtained during an altercation with officers from the Tennessee Alcoholic Beverage Commission (TABC) prior to his recent arrest. The pain he experienced was just as intense as it appeared.
The singer shared with his fans the bruises he received on Tuesday (Jan. 30) as a result of being pushed by a police officer. The force caused him to lose his balance and fall into the corner of a bar, resulting in two significant and dark bruises. One bruise is located on the inner side of his arm, while the other is on his lower back.
In his post, Young shares a photo and expresses that the object in the photo is very close to his spine. To emphasize his point, he sets his post to a clip of "Don't Stand So Close to Me," a popular song from 1980 by the British rock group, the Police.
Many fans showed empathy towards Young's experience in the comment section of his post, while there were also some who supported and justified the actions of the officers.
A commenter is questioning the acceptability of the actions of the accused party and suggests that by taking legal action, it can potentially prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future.
One person expresses their opinion, advising against interfering with someone's employment. They mention that they cannot sympathize with the situation, but still enjoy the individual's music.
The actor from the show "Young Love & Saturday Nights" was taken into custody for acts of disorderly behavior, resisting when being arrested, and physically attacking a police officer at a bar called the Dawg House in Nashville. This incident occurred earlier in the current month.
However, the video evidence of the situation, which includes footage from security cameras as well as recordings made by other customers at the bar, presents a contrasting narrative. It demonstrates that Young displayed a respectful and compliant attitude towards the officers while being apprehended. It appears that he barely made physical contact with one of the officers before the individual forcefully pushed him backwards, causing him to fall over a bar.
The charges against the singer were dismissed, and afterwards, Young confidently showed off to those who criticized him for making contact with the officer.
Now that Young has been acquitted of all charges, he can put the incident behind him, at least from a legal perspective. He will probably resume his efforts to promote his upcoming album, Young Love & Saturday Nights, which is set to be released on March 22.
