Chris Young has revealed the injuries he sustained during his encounter with Tennessee Alcoholic Beverage Commission (TABC) officers, which occurred prior to his recent arrest. The injuries were just as painful as they appeared.
The singer displayed his bruises to his fans on Tuesday (Jan. 30) and explained that they were caused when an officer forcefully pushed him, causing him to lose his balance and trip over the edge of a bar. He suffered two noticeable bruises as a result: one on the inner side of his arm and another on his lower back, both of which appeared dark in color.
In a post, Young expresses his discomfort with the proximity of something to his spine. He shares a photo and pairs it with a clip of "Don't Stand So Close to Me," a popular song by the British rock band, the Police, to emphasize his point.
In the comments section of Young's post, numerous fans expressed their sympathy towards his experience, while some individuals defended the actions of the officers.
One person commenting questions the acceptability of allowing them to engage in such behavior, expressing the belief that suing them would serve as a deterrent and prevent others from experiencing the same situation.
One person expresses their opinion that it is not right to interfere with someone's job and they do not have any sympathy for the person. However, they still enjoy the person's music.
Earlier this month, the actor from "Young Love & Saturday Nights" was taken into custody at a bar called the Dawg House in Nashville. The charges against them include disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and assaulting a police officer.
However, the video recordings of the incident, captured by both security cameras and other customers in the bar, present a contrasting narrative. The footage shows that Young was respectful and compliant with the officers while being arrested. It appears that he only lightly made contact with one of the officers before the individual forcefully pushed him backwards, causing him to fall over a bar.
The charges against the singer were dismissed, and afterwards, Young confidently responded to those who criticized his decision to make contact with the officer.
Since all charges against Young have been dropped, he is no longer legally involved in the incident. It is expected that he will now focus on promoting his upcoming album, Young Love & Saturday Nights, scheduled to be released on March 22.
