Zacharias recounted the incident to CBS News, explaining that he was determined not to release his grip on the car and held onto the windshield wipers. Without realizing it, they started driving down the street and accelerating, causing him to become terrified for his life.

Additionally, a video capturing the event has become widely popular, displaying Zacharias gripping onto the car's hood.

In her TikTok video, Zacharias recounted the incident where she initially thought her dog wanted to explore something when he pulled the leash, so she let go. However, she was taken aback when she saw a woman holding her dog and walking away with him. Determined to retrieve her dog, Zacharias positioned herself in front of the car and firmly stated that the woman couldn't leave because she had her dog. Instead of complying, the individuals in the car proceeded to drive towards Zacharias, ultimately causing her to fall onto the hood of the car. Undeterred, she remained steadfast, insisting that she wouldn't leave until her dog was returned. Despite her efforts, they still drove away.

Regrettably, Zacharias' brave attempt to save his cute dog was unsuccessful. He managed to hold on for a short distance until the car abruptly changed direction, causing him to fall off. As a result, he sustained minor injuries like cuts and bruises. Sadly, Onyx, the dog, is still nowhere to be found.

"I feel a sense of sadness whenever I engage in any activity because I wish Onyx was with me or could experience it. It feels like this situation occurred recently, but it's already been 10 days," she expressed.

The crime is currently under investigation by the Los Angeles Police Department, as reported by CBS. The authorities are actively looking into the matter, which includes evaluating
