The Future of CMA Fest: How the New Nissan Stadium Will Change the Ultimate Country Music Fan Experience

  • by

In the near future, CMA Fest is expected to undergo significant changes due to the upcoming construction of a new stadium for the Tennessee Titans.

After being hosted at Nissan Stadium for several years, the festival's main shows will be relocated to the newly constructed venue once it is finished.

The Country Music Association has expressed their intention to collaborate with the Tennessee Titans annually during CMA Fest. They are excited about hosting country music fans in Nashville for the evening concerts at the newly-built stadium.

A brand-new stadium, appropriately called the New Nissan Stadium, is planned to be constructed on the eastern side of the current Nissan Stadium, situated along the East Bank of the Cumberland River. The construction is expected to commence this year and the stadium is anticipated to be completed and operational by 2027.

Fans of country music can still reach the New Nissan Stadium in downtown Nashville by utilizing the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge.

The new location for the Titans will be a closed facility that is specifically designed to provide an enhanced fan experience. It will offer stunning views of Nashville, a roof that allows natural light to pass through, and a large community area spanning 12,000 square feet that can be utilized throughout the year.

CMA Fest, previously known as Fan Fair, is an incredibly popular event for country music fans. It originated in 1972 with only 5,000 attendees at Nashville's Municipal Auditorium but has now grown into one of the largest country music gatherings. Every year, people from all corners of the world come together in Music City to witness over 250 performances by various artists on nine different stages.

The upcoming CMA Fest in 2024 will take place from June 6th to June 9th
