  • by

Chris Young displayed the injuries he sustained during his encounter with officers from the Tennessee Alcoholic Beverage Commission (TABC) prior to his recent arrest. The visible injuries were as excruciating as they appeared.

The singer shared with his fans on Tuesday (Jan. 30) the bruises he got when a police officer forcefully pushed him, causing him to lose his balance and trip over the edge of a bar. These injuries consist of two prominent and dark bruises, one on the inner side of his arm and the other on his lower back.

In his post, Young shares a photo and expresses that the object in the photo is uncomfortably close to his spine. He sets his post to a clip of "Don't Stand So Close to Me," a popular song from the 1980s by the British rock group, the Police.

In the section where readers can leave comments on his post, a lot of fans showed empathy towards Young's situation, but there were also some people who supported the officers' actions.

A commenter expresses their concern about the situation, stating that by taking legal action against the responsible party, they can potentially prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future. They question how the actions of the responsible party can be deemed acceptable

One person expresses their opinion by saying that they don't think someone should interfere with someone else's job. They also mention that they can't feel sympathy for the person. However, they also mention that they still enjoy the person's music.

Earlier this month, the actor from the television show "Young Love & Saturday Nights" was taken into custody at a bar called the Dawg House in Nashville. The charges against him include disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and assaulting a police officer.

However, recordings of the event, captured by both security cameras and other customers in the bar, depict a contrasting narrative. The footage reveals that Young was respectful and compliant with the officers when being arrested. It shows that he barely made contact with one of the officers before the individual forcefully shoved him backwards, causing him to fall over a bar.

The charges against the singer were dismissed, and Young then confidently showed off to those who criticized him for touching the officer initially.

After having all charges dropped against him, Young no longer has any legal issues related to the incident. He will probably resume promoting his upcoming album, titled Young Love & Saturday Nights, which is scheduled to be released on March 22.
