Chris Young Reveals Injuries From Violent Run-In with Police

  • by

Chris Young has shared a picture displaying the injuries he sustained during his encounter with Tennessee Alcoholic Beverage Commission (TABC) officers, which occurred prior to his recent arrest. The injuries appear to be just as painful as they initially appeared.

The singer recently revealed to his fans the bruises he got when a police officer forcefully pushed him, resulting in him losing his balance and falling onto a bar's corner. He now has two noticeable and painful bruises, one on the inside of his arm and another on his lower back.

In the caption of the photo he shared, Young expresses that the object in the photo is positioned dangerously close to his spine. He accompanies his post with a clip of "Don't Stand So Close to Me," a popular song from 1980 by the British rock band The Police.

After reading Young's post, numerous fans expressed empathy towards his experience, while some individuals stood up for the officers' actions in the comments section.

A commenter questions the justification of allowing them to engage in such behavior, stating that by taking legal action against them, you can help protect others from experiencing the same thing.

"Do not attempt to hinder someone's employment. I cannot sympathize with you," another person expresses. "Nevertheless, I still enjoy your music!"

Earlier this month, the actor from "Young Love & Saturday Nights" was taken into custody at a bar in Nashville called the Dawg House. The charges against him include disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and assaulting a police officer.

However, the video recordings of the incident, captured by security cameras as well as other customers in the bar, present a contrasting narrative. They reveal that Young behaved respectfully and cooperatively with the officers while being arrested. It appears that he only lightly touched one of the officers before the individual forcefully pushed him backwards and over a bar.

The charges against the singer were dismissed, and afterwards, Young confidently responded to those who criticized him for interacting with the officer.

Now that all accusations against Young have been dropped, the incident is no longer a legal concern for him. He will probably resume promoting his upcoming album, Young Love & Saturday Nights, set to be released on March 22.
