In Los Angeles, California, a woman displayed immense bravery by clinging onto the hood of a moving car after a thief stole her cherished French bulldog.
On January 18, an incident occurred outside of a Whole Foods supermarket where a woman came up to Ali Zacharias, who was walking her dog, and forcefully took the animal away from her.
The woman picked up the dog, who goes by the name Onyx, and brought him over to a white car that was being driven by another person.
Fearlessly, Zacharias was determined to stop the thieves from escaping with Onyx. He bravely leaped onto the car's hood and held on tightly as it raced through a crowded street in Los Angeles.

Zacharias recounted the incident to CBS News, stating that he was determined to not release his grip on the car and held onto the windshield wipers. Without realizing it, they started driving down the street and gaining speed, causing Zacharias to become terrified for his life.
A viral video of the event has also surfaced, capturing Zacharias clinging onto the car's hood.
Zacharias recounted the incident to NBC News through a TikTok video, explaining that when he tugged on the leash, she assumed he wanted to go smell something and let go. However, she then noticed a woman holding him and walking away. To prevent the woman from leaving with her dog, Zacharias positioned herself in front of the car and firmly stated that the woman couldn't leave because she had her dog. Despite her efforts, the individuals in the car drove towards her, eventually causing her to fall onto the hood of the car. Even after falling, Zacharias remained determined and declared that she wouldn't leave until her dog was returned. Despite her pleas, the individuals continued to drive away.
Regrettably, Zacharias' brave attempts to save her cute dog were unsuccessful. She managed to hold on for a short distance until the car suddenly veered and caused her to fall off, resulting in minor injuries such as cuts and bruises. Onyx, her dog, is still not found.
"I feel a sense of sadness in whatever activity I am engaged in because I wish I could be doing it with Onyx or that he could experience it too. For instance, when I go grocery shopping, I can't help but feel a twinge of regret that I am not purchasing anything for him. It's hard to believe how fast time has flown by. It feels like this situation just occurred, and yet it has already been 10 days," she expressed.
The crime is currently being investigated by the Los Angeles Police Department, as reported by CBS. They are actively looking into the matter, which involves reviewing security
