In the near future, CMA Fest will undergo significant changes due to the upcoming construction of a new stadium for the Tennessee Titans.
After hosting the festival's main performances for many years, the current Nissan Stadium will be replaced by a new venue where the shows will take place once it is finished.
The Country Music Association has confirmed that they will continue their collaboration with the Tennessee Titans every year during CMA Fest. They are excited to invite country music fans to Nashville for the nightly concerts, which will be held in the newly built stadium.
The upcoming stadium, appropriately called the New Nissan Stadium, is planned to be constructed on the eastern side of the current Nissan Stadium, located along the East Bank of the Cumberland River. The construction is expected to commence later this year, and the stadium is projected to be ready for opening in 2027.
Fans of country music will still have the option to reach the New Nissan Stadium from downtown Nashville by utilizing the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge.
The new stadium for the Titans will be different from their current one. It will be an enclosed facility that focuses on providing fans with an enhanced experience. It will have wide views of Nashville, a roof made of translucent material, and a community space of 12,000 square feet that can be utilized throughout the year.
