There have been six haunting final concerts that left a lasting impact. Merle Haggard, Johnny Cash, and Daryle Singletary were among the artists who delivered unforgettable performances. George Jones was aware that his last concert was approaching, while Daryle Singletary was unaware. However, the choice of song Singletary performed at the end of his concert added an extra eerie element to the night.
Following the passing of Merle Haggard, there circulated a compelling narrative about Toby Keith assisting him in gracefully exiting the stage during his last performance, preserving his dignity. However, this account turned out to be false. Contrary to popular belief, Toby Keith was not present at the Hag's final show, and the individual who deceived us into believing so was also absent.
In fact, the individual referred to as W. Earl Brown, who is an actor, did not attend the show where Keith actually assisted Haggard in completing his performance. He only learned about it through word of mouth.

Taste of Country uncovered a review of Haggard's last concert, which revealed a significant moment that deserves as much recognition as the Toby Keith hero story. This is just one of the six cherished memories from his final concert, which can be seen in the video above (and in the pictures below).
Included in this emotionally poignant video are John Denver's final performance, Johnny Cash's last song, and Waylon Jennings' made-for-TV farewell.
We particularly enjoy the Singletary performance. If you are already acquainted with Johnny Paycheck's song "Old Violin," then you can anticipate where Singletary's rendition will take you. However, if you are not familiar with it, we encourage you to continue watching.
