In Los Angeles, California, a brave woman resorted to extreme actions to rescue her cherished French bulldog from a thief.
On January 18, a woman took a dog belonging to Ali Zacharias outside of a Whole Foods store.
The woman carried the dog, who goes by the name Onyx, and took him to a white car that was being driven by another person.
Fearlessly, Zacharias was determined to not allow the thieves to escape after stealing Onyx. He bravely leaped onto the car's front hood and held on tightly as it zoomed through a crowded street in Los Angeles.

Zacharias recounted his experience, stating that he was determined to not release his grip on the windshield wipers of the car. He found himself in a situation where they were driving down the street and gradually gaining speed, causing him to feel extremely frightened for his life.
A widely shared video captures the incident, portraying Zacharias clinging onto the car's hood.
Zacharias recounted the incident to NBC News through a TikTok video, explaining that when he tugged on the leash, she assumed he wanted to go sniff something, so she let go. However, she then noticed a woman grabbing hold of him and walking away. In an attempt to stop them, she positioned herself in front of their car, firmly stating that they couldn't leave because they had her dog. Instead of stopping, the individuals drove their car towards her, ultimately causing her to fall onto the hood. Undeterred, she remained adamant, declaring that she wouldn't leave until they returned her dog. Despite her protests, they disregarded her and proceeded to drive away.
Regrettably, Zacharias' brave attempt to save his cute puppy was unsuccessful. He managed to hold on for a short distance before the car suddenly veered, causing him to be thrown off. As a result, he sustained minor cuts and bruises. Currently, the whereabouts of Onyx, the puppy, are still unknown.
"I feel a sense of sadness whenever I am engaged in any activity, as I wish I could be doing it with Onyx or that he could experience it too. Even when I go grocery shopping, I can't help but think that I am not buying anything for him. It's astonishing how quickly time has passed, it feels like this situation occurred just recently, and yet it has already been 10 days," she expressed.
As per CBS, the Los Angeles Police Department is currently engaged in an investigation of the crime, which involves the examination of security footage.
