Chris Young displayed the injuries he sustained during a confrontation with officers from the Tennessee Alcoholic Beverage Commission (TABC) prior to his recent arrest. The injuries were just as excruciating as they appeared.
The singer recently shared with his fans the bruises he got from an incident involving a police officer. The officer forcefully pushed him, leading to him losing balance and falling over the corner of a bar. This resulted in two noticeable bruises: one on the inside of his arm and another on his lower back.
In his post, Young expresses that the photo is uncomfortably close to his spine. He pairs his post with a clip of "Don't Stand So Close to Me," a popular song from the British rock band the Police in 1980.
After reading Young's post, several fans expressed empathy towards his experience in the comments. However, there were also individuals who stood up for the officers and defended their actions.
One person commenting questions the acceptability of the situation, stating that by filing a lawsuit against them, you can potentially prevent this from happening to others.
One person expresses their opinion by saying, "I don't think you should interfere with someone's job. I can't sympathize with you for that." Despite this, they still enjoy the person's music.
Earlier this month, the actor from the television show "Young Love & Saturday Nights" was taken into custody at a bar called the Dawg House in Nashville. He was arrested on multiple charges, including disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and assaulting a police officer.
However, recordings of the event – captured by security cameras and other bar patrons – present a contrasting narrative. The footage reveals that Young was respectful and compliant with the officers during his apprehension. It shows that he merely lightly touched one of the officers before the individual forcefully shoved him backwards, causing him to fall over a bar.
The charges against the singer were dismissed, and afterwards Young confidently responded to the "trolls" who believed he should not have made contact with the officer in the first place.
Since all charges against Young have been dropped, he is no longer legally involved in the incident. He will probably resume promoting his upcoming album, Young Love & Saturday Nights, which is scheduled to be released on March 22.
