In Los Angeles, California, a woman bravely held onto the hood of a moving car in order to rescue her beloved French bulldog from a thief.
On January 18, an incident occurred outside of a Whole Foods supermarket where a lady approached Ali Zacharias, who was walking her dog, and forcefully took the pet away from her.
The woman transported Onyx, her dog, to a white car that was being operated by another individual.
Without hesitation, Zacharias bravely decided to stop the thieves from escaping with Onyx. Fearlessly, she leaped onto the front of the car and held on tightly as it raced through a crowded street in Los Angeles.

Zacharias expressed that he was determined to not release his grip on the car, so he tightly held onto the windshield wipers. Without realizing it, they started driving down the street and accelerating, causing Zacharias to become extremely fearful for his life.
A viral video of the incident captures Zacharias clinging onto the car's hood.
Zacharias recounted the incident to NBC News in a TikTok video, explaining that when the man pulled the leash, she initially thought he just wanted the dog to go sniff something, so she let go. However, she soon noticed a woman holding onto the dog and walking away. In an effort to prevent them from leaving with her dog, she positioned herself in front of their car and firmly stated that they couldn't leave because they had her dog. Despite her protests, they proceeded to drive towards her, causing her to fall onto the hood of their car. Even after falling, she remained determined and declared that she wouldn't leave until they returned her dog. Nevertheless, they continued to drive away.
Regrettably, Zacharias' brave attempt to save her cute little dog was unsuccessful. She managed to hold on for a short distance until the car suddenly changed direction and caused her to be thrown off, resulting in some slight injuries. Unfortunately, Onyx is still nowhere to be found.
"I feel a sense of sadness no matter what I'm doing because I wish I could do it with Onyx or that he could be a part of it. For example, when I go grocery shopping, I can't help but think that I'm not buying anything for him. It's surprising how quickly time has passed. It feels like this situation just occurred, and yet it's already been 10 days," she expressed.
As per CBS, the Los Angeles Police Department is currently engaged in investigating the crime, which includes the examination of security footage.
