In Los Angeles, California, a woman bravely held onto the hood of a moving car after a thief stole her cherished French bulldog.
On January 18, an incident occurred outside a Whole Foods grocery store where a woman took a dog belonging to its owner, Ali Zacharias.
The woman transported the dog, whose name is Onyx, to a white car that was being operated by another individual.
With great courage, Zacharias refused to allow the thieves to escape after stealing Onyx. He bravely leaped onto the car's hood and held on tightly as it raced down a bustling street in Los Angeles.

Zacharias recounted his experience to CBS News, explaining that he was determined to not release his grip on the windshield wipers of the car. Unbeknownst to him, the vehicle began to travel down the street, gradually gaining speed, causing him to feel extreme fear for his life.
Zacharias was filmed in a video that has gained widespread attention online, as it captures him holding onto the car's hood.
Zacharias recounted the incident in a TikTok video to NBC News, explaining that when he tugged on the leash, he initially assumed that his dog wanted to go explore something, so he let go. However, to his surprise, he spotted a woman holding his dog and walking away with him. In an attempt to stop them, Zacharias positioned himself in front of their car and firmly stated that they couldn't leave because they had his dog. However, instead of complying, the individuals in the car drove towards him, ultimately causing him to fall onto the hood of their vehicle. Despite this, Zacharias remained determined and declared that he wouldn't give up until they returned his dog. In the end, they continued to drive away.
Regrettably, Zacharias' brave attempts to save her lovable dog were unsuccessful. She managed to hold on for a short distance, but the car abruptly veered, causing her to be thrown off and resulting in minor injuries such as cuts and bruises. Unfortunately, Onyx is still nowhere to be found.
"I feel a sense of sadness when I realize that I am not able to do things with Onyx or when he is not able to experience them. For example, while grocery shopping, I am reminded that I am not purchasing anything for him. It's surprising how fast time has passed, as it feels like this situation just occurred. However, it has already been 10 days," she expressed.
CBS reports that the Los Angeles Police Department is currently engaged in a thorough investigation of the crime. This investigation involves the examination of security footage as part of
