Chris Young Opens Up About Injuries Sustained During Altercation with Police

  • by

Chris Young has revealed the injuries he sustained during his encounter with Tennessee Alcoholic Beverage Commission (TABC) officers, which occurred before his recent arrest. The injuries were just as severe as they appeared.

The singer revealed to his fans on Tuesday (Jan. 30) the bruises he got from being pushed by a police officer, which resulted in him stumbling and falling over the corner of a bar. The bruises he sustained include two prominent and dark marks: one on the inner part of his arm and the other on his lower back.

In his post, Young expresses that the photo is dangerously close to his spine. He accompanies the post with a clip of "Don't Stand So Close to Me," a popular song by the British rock band, the Police.

In the section where users can leave comments on his post, numerous fans showed understanding towards Young's encounter, while some individuals supported the actions taken by the officers.

A commenter ponders why it is acceptable for the party being sued to engage in actions that could harm others, and suggests that by taking legal action, one can contribute to preventing such incidents from occurring in the future.

One person expresses their opinion that one should not interfere with someone else's job and they do not sympathize with them. However, they also mention that they still enjoy the person's music.

The actor known for his role in "Young Love & Saturday Nights" was taken into custody for engaging in disorderly behavior, resisting arrest, and physically attacking a police officer at a bar named the Dawg House in Nashville. This incident occurred earlier in the month.

However, when we examine the video evidence of the incident, which includes footage from security cameras as well as recordings made by other customers in the bar, it presents a contrasting narrative. In the video, Young is seen being respectful and compliant with the officers during his arrest. It appears that he only lightly touched one of the officers before the officer forcefully pushed him backwards and over a bar.

The singer's charges were dismissed, and later on, Young confidently responded to those who criticized him for touching the officer.

After all the charges against Young have been dropped, the incident is now in the past for him, at least from a legal perspective. He will probably resume promoting his upcoming album, Young Love & Saturday Nights, scheduled to be released on March 22.
