In the near future, CMA Fest will undergo significant changes due to the upcoming construction of a new stadium for the Tennessee Titans.
After being held at Nissan Stadium for many years, the festival's main shows will be relocated to the newly constructed venue when it is finished.
The Country Music Association has expressed their intention to maintain their collaboration with the Tennessee Titans on an annual basis during the CMA Fest. They are excited to invite country music fans to Nashville for the evening concerts that will take place in the newly constructed stadium.
Construction will soon begin on a new stadium called the New Nissan Stadium, which will be located east of the existing Nissan Stadium on the East Bank of the Cumberland River. The stadium is expected to be completed by 2027.
People who enjoy country music can still get to the New Nissan Stadium in downtown Nashville by using the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge.
The new stadium for the Titans will differ from their current one as it will be an enclosed facility designed to enhance the fan experience. It will offer panoramic views of Nashville, have a translucent roof, and include 12,000 square feet of community space that can be utilized throughout the year.
CMA Fest is an incredible experience for country music fans, known as the "Ultimate Country Music Fan Experience." It originated in 1972 under the name Fan Fair and started with a small group of 5,000 fans at Nashville's Municipal Auditorium. Over the years, it has grown into one of the largest annual events in country music. People from all over the world come together in Music City to witness over 250 performances by various artists on nine different stages.
