In Los Angeles, California, a woman displayed immense bravery by clinging onto the hood of a moving car after a thief snatched her cherished French bulldog.
On January 18, an incident occurred outside a Whole Foods supermarket where a woman approached Ali Zacharias, the owner of a dog, and forcefully took her pet away.
The woman picked up Onyx, a dog, and took him to a white car where someone else was driving.
Fearlessly, Zacharias was determined to prevent the thieves from escaping with Onyx. He leaped onto the car's hood and held on tightly while the vehicle raced through a crowded street in Los Angeles.

Zacharias recounted the incident to CBS News, stating that he was determined to hold onto the car and refused to let go. He found himself on the windshield wipers, and before he realized it, the car was moving down the street at an increasing speed. At that moment, he became terrified for his life.
A video capturing the incident has also become extremely popular, displaying Zacharias gripping onto the car's hood.
Zacharias recounted the incident to NBC News in a TikTok video, explaining that when he tugged on the leash, she initially thought he just wanted to go sniff something, so she let go. However, she then noticed a woman holding her dog and walking away with him. In an attempt to stop them, she positioned herself in front of their car and firmly stated that they couldn't leave because they had her dog. Despite her protests, they drove towards her, causing her to fall onto the hood of their car. Even in this position, she persisted, declaring that she wouldn't leave until they returned her dog. Nevertheless, they ignored her and continued driving away.
Regrettably, Zacharias' brave attempt to save his cute dog was unsuccessful. He managed to hold on for a short distance until the vehicle suddenly changed direction, causing him to fall off. As a result, he sustained minor injuries and wounds. However, his beloved pet, Onyx, is still nowhere to be found.
No matter what I'm doing, I feel a sense of sadness because I am not doing it with Onyx, or because he is not able to experience it. For example, when I go grocery shopping, I can't help but think that I'm not buying anything for him. It's amazing how fast time has passed. It feels like this just occurred, but it's already been 10 days," she expressed.
