In Los Angeles, California, a woman bravely clung onto the hood of a moving car in order to rescue her treasured French bulldog from a thief.
On January 18, an incident took place outside a Whole Foods supermarket where a woman approached Ali Zacharias, the owner of a dog, and forcibly took away her pet.
The woman carried the dog, whose name is Onyx, and took it to a white car that was being driven by another person.
Fearlessly, Zacharias was determined to prevent the thieves from escaping after stealing Onyx. He bravely leaped onto the car's hood and held on tightly as it raced down a bustling street in Los Angeles.

Zacharias recounted to CBS News that he was determined not to release his grip on the windshield wipers and braced himself as the car accelerated down the street, causing him to panic for his safety.
A viral video of the event also captures Zacharias clinging onto the car's hood.
Zacharias shared her experience in a TikTok video, describing how she initially thought her dog just wanted to explore when he pulled on the leash. However, she was taken aback when she saw a woman holding her dog and walking away with him. Determined to get her beloved pet back, Zacharias stood in front of the car and firmly asserted that they couldn't leave with her dog. The individuals in the car disregarded her pleas and drove towards her, ultimately causing her to fall onto the hood of their car. Undeterred, Zacharias persisted, stating that she wouldn't leave until her dog was returned to her. Despite her efforts, the individuals in the car drove away.
Regrettably, Zacharias' brave attempts to save her cute dog were unsuccessful. She managed to hold on for a short distance before the car suddenly changed direction, causing her to fall off and suffer minor injuries. Unfortunately, Onyx is still nowhere to be found.
"I feel a sense of sadness knowing that I am engaged in activities without Onyx, or that he is not experiencing them. Even when I am grocery shopping, I am constantly reminded that I am not purchasing anything for him. It's astonishing how fast time has passed since this feeling began. It feels like it just occurred, but in reality, it has already been 10 days," she expressed.
The Los Angeles Police Department is currently conducting an investigation into the crime, which involves examining security footage, as reported by CBS.
