The Future of CMA Fest: How the New Stadium Will Transform the Ultimate Country Music Fan Experience

  • by

There are changes coming to CMA Fest in the future due to the upcoming construction of a new stadium for the Tennessee Titans.

After being the venue for the festival's main shows for many years, the current Nissan Stadium will be replaced by a new venue once it is finished.

The Country Music Association has expressed their intention to collaborate with the Tennessee Titans every year during CMA Fest. They are excited about bringing country music fans to Nashville for the nightly concerts in the newly built stadium.

The upcoming stadium, appropriately called the New Nissan Stadium, is planned to be constructed on the eastern side of the existing Nissan Stadium, situated along the East Bank of the Cumberland River. The building process is expected to commence in the present year, and the stadium is projected to be ready for use by 2027.

Fans of country music can still reach the New Nissan Stadium located in downtown Nashville by utilizing the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge.

The upcoming stadium for the Titans will have a different design compared to their current one. It will be an indoor facility designed specifically to enhance the fan experience. It will offer panoramic views of Nashville, have a see-through roof, and feature a community space of 12,000 square feet that can be utilized throughout the year.

CMA Fest is an exceptional event for country music enthusiasts, originally known as Fan Fair and initiated in 1972. It commenced with a modest gathering of 5,000 fans at Nashville's Municipal Auditorium, but has now evolved into one of the largest annual events in the country music industry. Every year, a multitude of visitors from around the world come together in Music City to witness over 250 performances by various artists on nine distinct stages.
