In Los Angeles, California, a woman bravely held onto the hood of a moving car in order to rescue her cherished French bulldog from a thief.
On January 18, an incident occurred outside a Whole Foods supermarket where a woman took a dog belonging to Ali Zacharias without permission.
The woman took Onyx, the dog, and brought him to a white car that was being driven by another individual.
Fearlessly, Zacharias was determined to prevent the thieves from escaping with Onyx. He swiftly leaped onto the car's hood and held on tightly as it raced down a bustling street in Los Angeles.

Zacharias recounted his experience, stating that he held onto the windshield wipers and was determined not to let go of the car. He found himself in a situation where the car was driving down the block and gaining speed, which caused him to panic and fear for his life. This information was shared by Zacharias during an interview with CBS News.
A video capturing the incident has gained widespread attention online, featuring Zacharias clinging onto the car's hood.
Zacharias recounted her experience to NBC News through a TikTok video, explaining that when her dog pulled on the leash, she initially thought he wanted to go smell something, so she let go. However, she soon noticed a woman holding her dog and walking away with him. In an attempt to stop them, Zacharias stood in front of their car and insisted that they couldn't leave because they had her dog. Despite her efforts, they proceeded to drive into her, causing her to fall onto the hood of their car. Refusing to give up, she continued to cling to the car and declared that she wouldn't leave until they returned her dog. Eventually, they drove off while she held on.
Regrettably, Zacharias' brave attempt to save his cute puppy did not succeed. He managed to hold on for a short distance before the car abruptly changed direction, causing him to fall off. As a result, he sustained minor injuries like cuts and bruises. However, Onyx, the puppy, is still nowhere to be found.
"No matter what I'm doing, I feel a sense of sadness because I'm not able to do it with Onyx or because he's not able to experience it. For example, when I'm grocery shopping, I think about how I'm not buying anything for him. It's surprising how quickly the time has passed. It feels like this situation just occurred, but it's already been 10 days," she expressed.
As per CBS, the Los Angeles Police Department is currently engaged in a thorough investigation of the crime, which involves the examination of security footage.
