There have been six memorable final concerts that gave listeners a sense of unease. Merle Haggard, Johnny Cash, Daryle Singletary, and others were part of these chilling performances. While George Jones was aware that it was his last concert, Daryle Singletary had no idea. However, this lack of knowledge only added to the haunting effect of the song he decided to conclude the evening with.
Following the passing of Merle Haggard, there circulated a captivating tale about Toby Keith's assistance in ensuring Haggard's graceful exit from the music scene. However, this narrative turned out to be false. Contrary to popular belief, Keith was not present during Haggard's last performance, nor was the individual who deceived us into believing otherwise.
In reality, the actor W. Earl Brown did not attend the show where Keith actually assisted Haggard in finishing. He simply heard about it.

Taste of Country found a review of Haggard's last concert and uncovered a special moment that deserves as much recognition as the Toby Keith hero story. This is just one of the six memories from his final concert, which can be seen in the video above (and in the pictures below).
This video includes the last performance of John Denver, the final song of Johnny Cash, and the made-for-TV swan song of Waylon Jennings, all of which evoke a bittersweet feeling.
We absolutely love the Singletary performance. If you are already familiar with Johnny Paycheck's song "Old Violin," then you already know the incredible impact it had. However, if you are not familiar with it, we highly recommend that you continue watching because it is truly worth it.
