  • by

In the near future, CMA Fest will undergo significant changes due to the upcoming construction of a new stadium for the Tennessee Titans.

After being the venue for the festival's main shows for many years, the current Nissan Stadium will be replaced by a new venue once it is finished.

The Country Music Association states that their current intentions are to collaborate with the Tennessee Titans on an annual basis during CMA Fest. They express excitement in hosting country music fans in Nashville for the nightly concerts at the newly-built stadium.

A brand new stadium, appropriately called the New Nissan Stadium, is going to be constructed on the eastern side of the existing Nissan Stadium, located along the East Bank of the Cumberland River. The construction is planned to commence this year, and the stadium is expected to be ready for its grand opening in 2027.

People who enjoy country music can still get to the New Nissan Stadium in downtown Nashville by using the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge.

The new stadium for the Titans will be different from their current one. It will be an indoor facility designed specifically to enhance the experience for fans. It will offer stunning views of Nashville, have a transparent roof, and include a large community space spanning 12,000 square feet that can be utilized throughout the year.

CMA Fest, originally known as Fan Fair, is an incredible experience for country music fans. It originated in 1972 with a small gathering of 5,000 fans at the Municipal Auditorium in Nashville.
