In the near future, CMA Fest will undergo significant changes due to the upcoming construction of a new stadium for the Tennessee Titans.
After being the venue for the festival's main shows for many years, the current Nissan Stadium will be replaced by a new venue once it is finished.
The Country Music Association has stated that they intend to maintain their partnership with the Tennessee Titans on an annual basis during the CMA Fest. They are eagerly anticipating the opportunity to host country music fans in Nashville for the nightly concerts at the new stadium.
A stadium, appropriately called the New Nissan Stadium, is going to be constructed on the east side of the existing Nissan Stadium, located along the East Bank of the Cumberland River. The construction process is planned to commence this year and the stadium is expected to be ready for use by 2027.
Fans of country music can still get to the New Nissan Stadium in downtown Nashville by using the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge.
The new venue for the Titans will be different from their current home. It will be an enclosed facility that is specifically designed to offer fans a better experience. It will have panoramic views of Nashville, a roof that allows natural light to pass through, and a community space of 12,000 square feet that can be utilized throughout the year.
CMA Fest, formerly known as Fan Fair, is an incredible event for country music fans. It first started in 1972 with just 5,000 attendees at Nashville's Municipal Auditorium, but it has since grown into one of the largest country music gatherings in the world. Every year, Music City welcomes tens of thousands of guests from around the globe who come together to enjoy over 250 performances by various artists on nine different stages.
