In a courageous act, a woman in Los Angeles, California resorted to extreme measures to rescue her beloved French bulldog from a thief.
On January 18, a woman took a dog from its owner, Ali Zacharias, outside of a Whole Foods supermarket.
The woman transported the dog, who goes by the name of Onyx, to a white vehicle that was being operated by another individual.
Fearlessly, Zacharias was determined to apprehend the thieves who had stolen Onyx. He bravely leaped onto the car's hood and held on tightly as it accelerated through a crowded street in Los Angeles.

Zacharias recounted the incident to CBS News, stating that when he realized the car was being driven away, he firmly grasped onto the windshield wipers. As they continued down the street, the speed increased, causing him to panic and fear for his life.
There is a viral video circulating that captures the incident, featuring Zacharias clinging onto the car's hood.
Zacharias recounted the incident to NBC News in a TikTok video, explaining that when he tugged on the leash, she assumed he wanted to sniff something, so she let go. However, she was surprised to see a woman grab him and walk away. Determined to get her dog back, Zacharias positioned herself in front of the car and insisted that they couldn't leave with her dog. The individuals in the car then proceeded to drive towards her, causing her to fall onto the hood. Despite this, she remained resolute and declared that she wouldn't leave until they returned her dog. Eventually, they drove away with her dog.
Regrettably, Zacharias' brave attempt to save her cute puppy was not successful. She managed to hold on for a short distance before the car suddenly changed direction, causing her to be thrown off and sustain minor injuries like cuts and bruises. Unfortunately, Onyx is still nowhere to be found.
"I feel a sense of sadness whenever I engage in any activity, as I wish I could do it with Onyx or that he could experience it too. Even when I go grocery shopping, I can't help but think that I'm not getting anything for him. It's unbelievable how fast time has passed. It feels like this situation just occurred, and yet it's already been 10 days," she expressed.
The crime is currently being investigated by the Los Angeles Police Department, who are actively looking into it and examining security footage as part of their investigation, as
