In the near future, CMA Fest will undergo significant changes due to the upcoming construction of a new stadium for the Tennessee Titans.
After being the location for the festival's main shows for quite some time, the current Nissan Stadium will be replaced by a new venue, which will then become the new home for these shows.
According to the Country Music Association, they have future plans to collaborate with the Tennessee Titans annually during CMA Fest. They are excited about hosting country music fans in Nashville for the evening concerts at the newly built stadium.
A brand new stadium, appropriately called the New Nissan Stadium, is going to be constructed on the eastern side of the current Nissan Stadium, situated along the East Bank of the Cumberland River. The construction of the stadium is planned to commence this year, and it is expected to be completed and ready for use in 2027.
Fans of country music will still have the option to reach the New Nissan Stadium located in downtown Nashville by utilizing the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge.
The upcoming stadium for the Titans will be different from their current one. It will be a closed facility designed specifically to provide fans with an enhanced experience. The stadium will offer beautiful views of Nashville, have a see-through roof, and include a community space of 12,000 square feet that can be utilized throughout the year.
CMA Fest, also known as Fan Fair, is an incredible event for country music fans. It originated in 1972 with just 5,000 attendees at Nashville's Municipal Auditorium, but has now become one of the largest annual events in country music. Every year, fans from all over the world come together in Music City to witness over 250 performances by various artists on nine different stages.
