In Los Angeles, California, a woman bravely held onto the hood of a moving car in order to rescue her cherished French bulldog from a thief.
On January 18, an incident occurred outside a Whole Foods supermarket where a lady approached Ali Zacharias, who was accompanied by her dog, and forcefully took the animal away from her.
The woman transported Onyx, her dog, to a white car that was being operated by another person.
Determinedly, Zacharias was determined to stop the thieves from escaping with Onyx. She bravely jumped onto the car's hood and held on tightly as it raced down a crowded street in Los Angeles.

Zacharias recounted how he firmly refused to release his grip on the car and tightly held onto the windshield wipers. The situation quickly escalated as the car continued down the street, accelerating rapidly, and Zacharias found himself in a state of extreme fear for his life.
There is a viral video circulating that captures the incident, where Zacharias can be seen gripping onto the car's hood.
Zacharias recounted the incident to NBC News via a TikTok video, explaining that when the man pulled the leash, she initially thought he just wanted the dog to smell something, so she let go. However, she was surprised to see a woman holding her dog and walking away with him. Determined to retrieve her dog, Zacharias positioned herself in front of the car and insisted that they couldn't leave as they had her dog. Despite her protests, they proceeded to drive into her, causing her to fall onto the hood of their car. Even after falling, she refused to give up and declared that she wouldn't leave until they returned her dog. Despite her efforts, they drove off with her dog.
Regrettably, Zacharias' brave attempt to save his cute dog was unsuccessful. He managed to hold on for a short distance before the car suddenly changed direction, causing him to fall off and sustain minor injuries. Sadly, Onyx is still nowhere to be found.
"No matter what I am doing, I feel a sense of sadness because I am not doing it with Onyx, or because he is not able to experience it. For example, when I go grocery shopping, I can't help but think that I am not buying anything for him. It's hard to believe how quickly time has passed. It feels like this situation just occurred, and yet it's already been 10 days," she expressed.
Based on CBS reports, the Los Angeles Police Department is currently engaged in a thorough investigation of the crime, which involves examining security footage as part of their
