In the near future, CMA Fest is expected to undergo significant changes due to the upcoming construction of a new stadium for the Tennessee Titans.
After being hosted at the current Nissan Stadium for several years, the festival's main shows will relocate to the newly constructed venue once it is finished.
The Country Music Association has expressed their intention to collaborate with the Tennessee Titans annually during CMA Fest. They are excited to invite country music enthusiasts to Nashville for the evening concerts that will take place in the newly constructed stadium.
A brand new stadium, appropriately called the New Nissan Stadium, is going to be constructed on the eastern side of the existing Nissan Stadium, located along the East Bank of the Cumberland River. The construction will commence within this year and is expected to be completed by 2027, when the stadium will be open for use.
Fans of country music will still have the option to reach the New Nissan Stadium in downtown Nashville by utilizing the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge.
The Titans' new home will be different from their current one, as it will be an enclosed facility designed to provide an enhanced fan experience. It will offer stunning views of Nashville, have a translucent roof, and include 12,000 square feet of community space that can be utilized throughout the year.
CMA Fest, also known as Fan Fair, is a remarkable event for country music enthusiasts. It originated in 1972 with a small gathering of 5,000 fans at Nashville's Municipal Auditorium. Over the years, it has grown into one of the largest annual events in country music, attracting tens of thousands of guests from around the world. The festival showcases over 250 performances by various artists on nine different stages.
