Country music star Reba McEntire is set to make a return to television.
Following her stint as a coach on the reality singing competition show "The Voice," McEntire is collaborating once more with NBC on an unnamed comedy pilot that will be shot using multiple cameras.
As reported by The Hollywood Reporter, the show centers around the protagonist portrayed by McEntire. She unexpectedly inherits her father's restaurant, but is not particularly excited when she finds out that she now has a new business partner, who happens to be her previously unknown half-sister.

McEntire and Kevin Abbott, an experienced showrunner known for his work on Last Man Standing, Roseanne, and The Golden Girls, will be joining forces again.
According to reports, Michael Hanel and Mindy Schultheis, who were producers for the show Reba in the past, will be joining Reba McEntire on her new comedy series on NBC.
NBC has recently placed an order for its first pilot of the year 2024, which is significant because it comes after the conclusion of the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes.
